Project Engineer

Overview:

S&R Controls manufactures control panels for several markets including compression, water, wastewater, and material handling.  We offer both custom controls to meet specific requirements and standard controls, designed to provide exceptional operation of a given application. Because of our diversity on control experience we deal with a multitude of different control and power components including PLCs, VFDs, Soft-starters, Motor Starters, and Data Collection.

S&R Controls is a fast-growing company. At S&R Controls, we believe in high production standards, while maintaining high business integrity. We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer who likes to be challenged with project designs and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple fast paced projects
• Participate in a team environment
• Complete panel drawings using AutoCad
• Design control logic for projects including BOM's
• Programming of PLC's and Programmable Relays
• Field Startup and trouble-shooting of control panels

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering degree
• Experience in programming PLC controllers (Allen Bradley, GE-Fanuc, Modicom, Siemens)
• Must be a self-starter and capable of working without supervision
• Willing to travel when required
• Knowledge with Microsoft Software
• Experience with UL 508A is a plus
• Knowledge of NEC
